Activism Day Planning Timeline

Seasonal Delay

Grants freeze in November, December, and January. Any grants needed during these months must be submitted by 10/31 at the latest. Please plan ahead.

Planning your activism day takes careful planning if you want to be successful. Here is an outline that would be beneficial for all our leaders to follow:

4-6 weeks Prior

• Submit your BLEXIT Activism Day/Grant Request Form and follow the steps of the Grant Process closely.

• Request your event flyers by the very latest, 6 weeks prior to your activism day (as it can take up to four weeks to process)

• Request your communications as it takes a week to process. Start pumping up your grassroots warriors about your event!

• Highly recommend that you complete your Activism Grant Request Form at this time.

4-6 Weeks Prior

• If you haven't already, Submit your BLEXIT Activism Day/Grant Request Form and follow the steps of the Grant Process closely. This is the absolute LATEST to submit your form in order to receive funds prior to your event.

2 Weeks Prior

• Funds Should be received (if submitted 4-6 weeks prior to the event as suggested)
