Attrition/ Departure of Leaders
We are so happy when volunteers contribute their time and talents to BLEXIT. We understand that sometimes people need to take a break or other opportunities/life circumstances arise.
1. When a leader needs to depart, this linked form must be completed by the Regional Manager or Team Lead. Upon departure, the departing leader will receive an automated email to the attrition form. In the event that the leader’s name is not found on the form, please select “leader not found,” and staff will manually send it to their personal email address using the message below. Kindly send the following sample message below.
Staff will periodically check to verify if the leader has completed the attrition form. If they have not, an additional follow-up email will be sent by staff.
Sample message:
Hello [Name],
Thank you for the time and dedication you’ve invested in BLEXIT. As you depart, we’d greatly appreciate a few minutes of your time to complete our brief feedback form (it only takes about 5–7 minutes). Your insights will help us enhance our programs and serve future leaders more effectively.

2. Regional Managers or managing leaders: Please be sure to update your rosters to reflect the change.
3. Finally, please let your team know of the departure so that managing leadership is aware of the change. See below examples for looping in the correct people into your update.
